A friend and I are having a rummage sale on Saturday, so for the past week, I have been busy pulling stuff out of closets, the basement, the attic, and the garage and taking everything over to her house. Luckily for me she lives 2 houses away. Yesterday after work, I went over to organize things. I had to move everything into the center and pull out a pile of sticks in there and sweep out a bunch of leaves. I set up tables and organized the baby stuff to pull out and priced a bunch of her items. The majority of the items are baby/kids related because she owns a daycare and I have some stuff of Kileigh's to get rid of.
I was going to sell my scrapbook stuff, but now that I have it over there and set up, I have to take it done and haul it home. I spent a lot of money on it over the years and really enjoy doing it, the problem is having the time and space to do it.
Today after work, I am going to go back over there and finish organizing and pricing everything. I can't do too much more before Saturday anyway, because most of the items are things that will be on the driveway/grass and I can't put them out till right before the sale.
We're hoping for good weather and lots of people, so we don't have a bunch of leftovers. Once the sale is over, maybe my friend will actually be able to park in her garage.

Weekend Update
This past weekend we stayed at Kevin's parents house. We had chicken alfredo and pizza for dinner Friday night and watched the Blackhawks game. Saturday morning Kevin had to work. His parents watched Kileigh, while I helped Kurt & Sandy paint their new house. We hung around the house in the afternoon, while Kevin napped. That evening we had our date night and did our first date with the Great Date Experiment - Big 6. We went to The Pit for dinner. Kevin got his usual ribs and I got my usual fish sandwich with corn and pasta salad. During dinner there were questions that we could pick from to ask each other, like What did I do at the beginning that impressed you so much? Where would you want to move if family or money wasn't an object? Would you rather have your dream home or a smaller house and a vacation home? Most of our answers were similar and that's partly because we are usually thinking the same things. After dinner we went to the Dollar Store to buy each other a present. He bough my a bag "Surprise for a girl" that had a blow up skateboard and hair ties in it. He said that life is always a surprise with me and that's why he picked that. I got razzles candy like in the movie 13 Going on 30. I said that it's nice to not forget what it's like to act like a kid once in awhile. We had never tried razzles, the candy that turns into gum. Not really what it is cracked up to be. After that we went to play miniature golf and drive go-karts. That was a lot of fun! We finished the night off at Plush Horse, an ice cream parlor. We had a blast! Sunday Kevin's mom, Kevin, Kileigh & I went to tailgate at the Sox game. Unfortunately the Sox lost 13-0, but we had fun anyway. Kileigh sat on grandma's lap playing with her cup, straw, and lid for half the game. Kevin walked around with her twice and grandma got her ice cream. We went back to his parents house, played bags, and cooked out for dinner. Fun weekend!
Valley of the Sun
2 weeks ago we went out to Arizona for the weekend to celebrate Kevin's brothers' birthdays. Andy turned 30 in April and Brendan was turning 25 the following week. We hadn't been out there since we went out in September for Kileigh's birthday, so it was time to make the trip. Kileigh enjoyed seeing her UA and UB and AK, along with her cousins and great aunts and great uncles. We went to lunch on Saturday with Brendan and Kim. We were going to go to Oregano's (Italian), but it was packed because of graduation weekend, so we went to Sweet Tomatoes instead. We spent the afternoon lazing by the pool. Sunday Kevin and I went to church across from Aunt Jeanine and Uncle Jim's house. Holy cow was it huge and the process to check Kileigh in to the nursery was crazy. The b-day party was in the afternoon and then we went to the airport to find out our flight was delayed. Luckily we were able to get on an earlier flight, but then there was a medical emergency, so we were delayed getting off the plane once we landed. We spent the night at Kevin's parents and then I had to drive home early Monday morning so I could shower and get ready for work.
Mother's Day Weekend
I am back from my blogging hiatus. I had to look at my calendar to jog my memory on what I had been up to since my last post. I will start with Mother's Day. My mom came up on the 5th and Kevin made enchiladas for Cinco de Mayo. She watched Kileigh on Thursday morning while I was at work. Kileigh and my mom went to a couple rummage sales and met up with my mom's friend Joy. They dropped Kileigh off in time for her afternoon nap and went to meet their other friends for an early dinner before Sarah's graduation. Saturday morning we hit some rummage sales, went to the zoo to see the new bear habitat, then went downtown for the Celtic Fest at Millenium Park. Kileigh really enjoyed watching the Irish dancers and listening to the music. That evening Kevin and I were able to go on a date night. We went to the hibachi grill at Chi Tung and then to see Back Up Plan. Sunday we went to church and had brunch at the Horticultural Center in Joliet, where Kevin's cousin's baby shower was in April. All in all, it was a fun weekend.
