Kileigh's 2nd birthday party

This past weekend we flew to Chicago for Kileigh's 2nd birthday party.  The weather ended up being cold and rainy, so we did the party inside.  My mother-in-law made mostacholli and salad.  My mom brought pulled pork and made a veggie tray.  Kevin, my mom, my mother-in-law and Kileigh went to pick up the  fried chicken and cake.  I hung out at the house with Kevin's dad because I had had a headache for 2 days and couldn't sleep and was feeling under the weather.

After all the guests arrived, we ate.  Then did presents, cake, and finally the pinata for the kids.  All in all it was a fun day.  After everyone left, we sat outside and had a bonfire.

Getting ready for birthday cake

Sunday, we slept in, had breakfast, relaxed for a little while, and then went to the airport for an early flight home.  We left 30 minutes late and still arrived 15 minutes early.  After collecting our bags, we went and picked up our keys at Kevin's brother's house.  We dropped our stuff off at home and went to Old Chicago for Kileigh's birthday dinner.  We got an appetizer, pizza, and the Big Cookie for dessert.

Happy 2nd birthday to our sweet little girl, Kileigh.  Mommy and Daddy love you very much!!!

Golf Tournament

Kevin had a golf tournament for work a few weeks ago sponsered by a local Marriott resort.  He was given $175 to spend in their store and got a new golf bag, some new golf balls, and a new watch.  After golfing, Kevin came home and picked us up so we could ride back to the resort together.  That evening they had a silent auction, open bar, dinner buffet, and a band.  The dinner was amazing.  We sat with Kevin's boss and his wife, which was nice since it was the first time I met them.  We didn't stay late because we had Kileigh with us.
